1. Collection of general information

If you contact us, we will process your data to fulfil our services and carry out contractual measures as well as answer enquiries in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. 

The legal basis for the processing to fulfil our legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO. 

5. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies in several places in order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. "Cookies" are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies also enable our systems to recognise your browser and offer you services. Cookies do not contain any personal data. 7. Establishing contact

Furthermore, the statutory archiving obligations apply.

8. Deletion of data

Unless expressly stated in this data protection declaration, the data stored by us will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain them. If the data are not deleted, their processing will be restricted. The data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes. 

According to legal requirements, the data is stored for 6 years according to § 257 para. 1 HGB (German Commercial Code) (commercial books, inventories, opening balance sheets, annual financial statements, commercial letters, accounting records, etc.) and for 10 years according to § 147 para. 1 AO (books, records, management reports, accounting records, commercial and business letters, documents relevant for taxation, etc.). 

9. Your rights

You have the right to information on whether and which personal data we store about you, on correction or deletion or on restriction of the processing of these data, a right of objection against the processing for the future as well as a right to data transferability. 

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right as a data subject to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of presumed infringement, if you consider that the processing of your personal data is contrary to data protection rules.

10. Email newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or provided separately by you to send you our email newsletter. We will also send you customer information, such as a reminder email if your purchase is interrupted. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time either by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email in question or by sending a message to: ds@meltem.com

11. Right of objection

Processing of the data concerning you in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO at any time. The objection can be made in particular against the processing for purposes of direct marketing.

You have the right to revoke consents granted pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO with effect for the future.

13. Amendment of this privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy. Changes will be announced in good time on our website. We recommend that you visit the website regularly to inform yourself about the current status of the data protection information. If a particular type of data use is dependent on your consent and a change to this data protection notice affects the data use in question, we will - to the extent required by law - obtain your consent again for such changes.

14. Data acquisition

If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (email addresses, name, addresses) is given, the input of these data takes place voluntarily.
