If the person leaves the detection area, the fan terminates its operation after 15 min * after-running time. If the motion detector detects a person before the end of the run-on time, the follow-up time starts again after the person has left the detection area.

The humidity controller has a fixed switching point of 75% RH (relative humidity) or reacts to one Rapid rise in moisture. After switching on, the fan starts after a measured value acquisition of approx. 50 s (60 or 100 m3 / h). After switching off, the fan runs for 15 min. If no increased humidity value is measured during this period, the fan switches off. The humidity sensor has a measuring control range of 20% to 95% rh and permanently monitors the room air humidity. The humidity sensor starts the fan in the following cases: 

• quick moisture increase regardless of the current room humidity 
• the switching point of 75% RH is exceeded.

The integrated tropical function ensures that the humidity sensor is adapted to the room climate, which changes depending on the season. In addition, the tropics function includes a running time limiter, which switches off the fan after 12 hours of continuous operation. Example of a rapid rise in humidity: The room humidity is 45% RH. When the shower starts, the fan starts up due to the rapid rise in humidity, even if the 75% rFS switching point has not yet been reached.

The humidity sensor switches the fan into the basic load mode in the following cases:

• Rapid rise in humidity independent of the current room air humidity 
• The switching point of 75% RH is exceeded.

The integrated tropical function ensures that the humidity sensor is adapted to the room climate, which changes depending on the season. In addition, the tropical function includes a running time limiter, which switches off the basic load operation of the fan after 12 hours of continuous operation.

Example of a rapid rise in moisture: The room humidity is 45% rh. When the shower is switched on, the fan switches to the basic load mode due to the rapid rise in humidity, even if the 75% RH switching point has not yet been reached.
